When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I expected vibrant coral reefs. And I found them. But I saw something on Amadive Con Dao's dive list: **A Shipwreck Dive**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was an journey into the past.

I'll admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the crew at **Amadive** was fantastic. Their PADI instructors gave us an excellent briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the wreck, and what to expect below. Being in such a small group immediately put me at ease safe.

Descending was surreal. First, it was just a shadow in the distance, and then it appeared. It was enormous. It's now a bustling artificial reef, covered in soft corals and teeming with fish. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding in the superstructure. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent vessel is indescribable—haunting, awe-inspiring, and humbling all at once. It truly is a piece of history on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) coming to Con Dao and looking for an adventure beyond the usual reef dive, I Best diving in Vietnam cannot recommend this **dive** enough.
